Family Ministry

While the grown ups enjoy our worship service in ECC Chapel, we offer Family Ministry activities for kids of all ages just down the hall.

Our big kids are led by our Youth Minister, Miss Brittney. Our little kids are led by our Children’s Ministry, Miss Magen. We also have a thriving group of Family Ministry volunteers who help to staff this hour of crafts, prayer, bible stories and casual conversations about God’s love.

First time?
Plan to sign your child into our Family Ministry space (usually classroom 12) anytime from 4:45 forward. The kids will have play time (often outside on the lawn during nice weather), a craft and a snack and then join you in the chapel around 5:45pm for communion and announcements. If your child has dietary restrictions, be sure to alert Brittney and Magen and pack an alternate snack for them to enjoy.

We do ask that one parent per family using our family ministry regularly become a Family Ministry Volunteer.

Family Ministry Volunteers

Interested in volunteering to serve in our Family Ministry?
We ask for a one Sunday per quarter commitment, from 4:45pm through communion. All Family Ministry volunteers must pass a background check annually, and complete Darkness to Light Stewards of Children training online prior to serving with our youth and children. ECC will cover all associated costs of your background check and online training. Email Nicole, our pastor who oversees Family Ministry activities.
